Up to 14 credits can be counted toward the credits needed for graduation. As there is a wide range of courses with some rules as to enrollment, you should consult your Academic Adviser or the Academic Affairs Division before signing up for classes. When enrolling for classes, make sure that you carefully read pp. 51–59 of this curriculum. If you are planning to apply for the Double Degree program, it may be advantageous for you to take some of these classes. For further information you should attend the Double Degree Orientation sessions and get the advice of your academic adviser.・　 For a list of Meiji Gakuin University General Education CoursesⅡ(Elective Courses), see pages 51 to 59. With some exceptions, most of these courses are taught in Japanese.・　 明治学院共通科目Ⅱ（選択科目）の科目履修については、科目が多岐に亘り、また履修の仕方が多様なので、科目履修に際しては、アカデミック・アドバイザーおよび教務課に相談すること。また履修にあたっては、本履修要項の51ページから59ページを熟読すること。・　明治学院共通科目Ⅱ（選択科目）の科目は、フリーゾーン科目として、本学科の卒業単位に含めることができる。・　 また、二重学位の取得を希望する学生は、明治学院共通科目Ⅱ（選択科目）を一定程度履修する必要があるので、関連するオリエンテーションに出席し、かつその科目履修に当たっては適宜アカデミック・アドバイザーの指導を受けること。・　明治学院共通科目Ⅱ（選択科目）のほとんどは日本語で開講される。
